it started as a fun CAD project, but ended up as a great filament spool holder for my DIY Tool changer. I tested with Bambu, Polymaker, Esun, Eryone spools and they all fit. It can be mounted to a 2020 extrusion frame or free stand on the base.

To make these you will need the following hardware.

8mm rod 120mm long.

4 x m5 countersunk bolts 30mm long

4 x m5 nuts

2 x 608ZZ bearings

2 x 8mm shaft lock collar

6 x Compression Springs (0.8x10mm OD,15mm Free Length)

3 x M3 (I will add the length when I can) bolts to fix the arms to the spinner part. Do not over tighten.

1 x PC4-M10 Male Straight Pneumatic Fitting Connectors for the filament PTFE guide

M5 x 35mm bolts and nuts if you want to use the base.
