Support for AIO radiator. Printed of PLA except the foot with TPU to limit vibration.
The hexagon pattern come from the infill, with removing top and bottom layer with some modifier to get where i wanted.
The project was to plug the AIO on my laptop GPU with some thermal paste and screw. The system is removable and i made a cache to protect the thermal paste from the cooling block when dismantle.
For those wandering i get between -10 to -20°C compare to stock on different heavy load, basically i never thermal throttle or get upper that 80°C, the CPU get affected too but less since the block is on the GPU side. Also the laptop fan get quieter cause i can change the speed of the AIO fans using Noctua NA-FC1 controller, therefore i get a quieter setup overall on heavy load.
As a side effect even when the AIO fans are off, the laptop have a lot more thermal inertia so the laptop fans start only when the load get long enough (>1min). So it basically silent the fans for most load.
