This is a print-in-place chain-style Rosary with 100% articulation between beads.  It does NOT require flexible filament- the Rosary shown in the photos was printed in marble PLA.  I am including the .step file so that artistic folks can redesign and decorate as desired.

Note that it is designed to fit on a Bambu Lab 256mm bed when scaled 100%.  You may scale it in the X and Y direction to fit different bed sizes, but leave Z at 100%.  I have only ever printed the Rosary at 100% scale, so YMMV.

  • It will fit on ~230mm square beds when scaled to 95% in X and Y.

  • It will fit on a Core One bed (with the 220mm limitation) if scaled to 90% in X and Y.

Printing notes:

  • Designed for .4mm nozzle (.45mm extrusion width)

  • 3 walls, 15% infill

  • Use arachne wall generator

  • Designed for .2mm layer height (.1 might work, but I haven't tried it)

  • NO supports

Note: In order for this to print right, you MUST be able to print clean bridges.  If you struggle with this, try setting your bridging speed to a very low number (I typically use 20mm/s) and use the below settings:

  • “Thick bridges” OFF

  • “Bridge flow” set to 1.2

  • Bridge fan speed to 100% (if printing with PLA or PETG/PCTG)

Blessed Mother, pray for us!
