WARNING! CHECK LAMP SHADE SIZE!
THE LAMP SHADE OPENING MUST HAVE AN OPENING DIAMETER OF 2.71" (68.83 mm)!
A reviewer made me aware that their SOLKLINT lamp has a lamp shade with a smaller opening than mine by 4-5 mm. It seems that either IKEA has altered that dimension or there is greater tolerance than I expected.
The best way to ensure this will fit your lamp shade is by measuring the opening diameter using calipers. If your measurement is less than 2.71" (68.83 mm), you will need to scale the model accordingly. Examples:
If you measure 2.60", then your scale should be 2.60" / 2.71" = 95.9%
If you measure 63.83mm, then your scale should be 63.83 / 68.83 = 92.7%

What is this?
This is a light diffuser shell that sits between the IKEA SOLKLINT's clear glass lamp shade and its lightbulb. The lamp's clear shade can make its lightbulb a rather piercing singular point of light. When the lamp is in its vertical upright orientation, this light diffuser helps alleviate this problem.

This is designed specifically to work with the SOLKLINT table lamp + SOLHETTA lightbulb. Other E26 base lightbulbs will likely fit just fine.

Printing suggestions
The design from bottom-up is a rim (seats against the lip of the glass lamp shade), a plain cylindrical body, and then a fluted cylindrical body. The print should be oriented such that the rim is flat against the base plate.

Thin-walled print
For light to show through, the print is quite thin at only 0.8mm thick for most of it. The bottom rim is also quite thin. The print will be fragile and should be treated as such.
I have only printed this once in Inland matte PLA. I do not know how well the print will hold up long-term being in such close proximity to a hot lightbulb. A more durable and heat-tolerant material is recommended if available.
