The version shown is for illustrative purposes of the key advantage of the Stylus hot end system, the rigid structural mounting of the heater block to a structural elemement of the print head that are independent of the thermal break thru which the filament feeds on it way from the heat sink to the heater block.
Rigidly mounting the heater block in this manner means that the heater block and the nozzle inserted into it are extremely stable and precisely positioned even under extreme acceleration speeds to provide very precise placement of the extruded filament.
In addition this mounting system means that the heat break needs to handle none of the physical loads and is free from physical strain and consequential fatique issues. This means the heat break so not suspeceptible to either long term fatique failure or damage due to the nozzle impacting on the print or some other object.
