The little disks inside my RL-18 tripod adapter ground flat, so I designed this hirth joint. I think I have the “new” version, but check the hole spacing on the light itself first! Fits the original screws. Dont tighten it too much.
The only part needed is one M6x8x8 threaded heat insert.
I printed at a 45deg angle for strength, custom supports are included. I used 5 walls, 35% infill and automatic supports over 40 deg. You can try drawing on more supports if it doesnt want to stick to the bed.
I printed in PCTG, I guess ASA or ABS would be better. It seems pretty solid to me though.
Each part was about 25g.
