Made this for my wife to hold all of her resin dyes(36 total)
- fully printed so i didn't need any hardware
- PLA is fine, it's what i used
- No supports needed, bridges are minimal.
- i did 50% infill, probably not needed.
The bottles of dye we are using in this are 16mm in diameter, and 60mm tall.
Added a sleeve for the 10mm rod on the top spinning wheel, i just pressed this in my hand into the hole of the top of the bottom wheel. this lets us have a “bearing” surface, so it feels tighter and if it wears out after use for a long time, i can reprint this sleeve in under 5 minutes.
I also added a simple 0.2mm thick bearing surface washer for the same purpose.
i should clarify just incase: The top and bottom assemblies do rotate independently
