These are built for a pair of the Tsugawa Yokou Super Mini TU-Koppel A chassis
These two are a pair of fictional Garratt locomotives built by the also fictional Genevieve & Co. locomotive works in 1915 as their custom order O class, as works numbers 602 and 603 for increased wartime traffic on the Bryn Bach Light Railway. The locomotives were delivered in opposite order of construction, no.602 (nicknamed "Craig the Colossal" by crews.) was delayed at the works due to cracks being found in the frames. thus no. 603 was delivered first. Sadly it was the far less reliable of the two. Craig arrived a few months after 603 and they were numbered 4 & 5 on the line.
with 603 being notoriously hard to fire. It was originally nicknamed "Hellstoker". It was later sent back to Genevieve & Co. in 1944, it was fitted with a superheater, new firebox and the new name of Spitfire.
The design was based loosely on the TGR K class as Genivieve Shewsby, the owner and chief designer of the company had visited the North East Dundas Tramway a few years before in 1911. Many similar elements were carried over but several improvements were made to the locos.
