Summary
This 3D printable case converts a standard SONOFF ZBMINIR2 smart relay (originally designed for wall boxes) into a safe, functional inline switch for lamp cords. It houses the relay securely, providing access to the onboard button.
I designed this because I wanted smart control for my desk/floor lamps and I wanted to retain beautifully designed but dumb light bulbs. Moreover, I didn't want to rely 100% on my phone or voice assistants to control those lamps. Sometimes, I just want to click a button to turn a specific light on or off.
This enclosure houses the SONOFF ZBMINIR2 It serves as a direct replacement for the dumb switch currently on your cable. This also allows me to use very pretty looking dumb bulbs into smart functional.
