This is a shop vac adapter I designed to fit my chinese blasting cabin.
My cabin has a filter and a hole in the back where dust / blasting material would escape, the adapter is designed to be glued over the open hole to pull air through the filter into the cabin and extracting dusty air in the back.
I added relieve holes into the adapter so the cabing doesn't explode.
The Adapter is designed to use standard 36mm tool hose ends.
I used 3M VHB tape to attach it to the cabin as I didn't want to add additional holes for screws into the cabin, this might come later if the tape should give way on the paint.
I'm going to use a cyclone seperator as I noticed that my first iteration which had the relieve hole all around that blasting material gathered behind the cabin (it was pulled out but gravitation pulled it out of the adapter before it was sucked away), this will not be needed but I think it will gather blasting media that can be reused.
