Key Features

Compatibility Notes

UL

Features reinforcement ribs that transfer force to the PCB to maintain rigidity while spacing the case away from the board.

Confirmed fit for REV 5 boards. Check contact points on other board revisions.

 (No PTT)

Removes the PTT hole form the case.

Allows removal of the 3.5mm PTT jack from the board for those who don't use it and want maximum weight reduction.

Thin UL

2.1g or 15.4% lighter than the Standard bottom. No internal reinforcement ribs.

Requires hardware mods: Replace power board screws with M3 nylon flat heads and the BS170 screw with a low-profile button head (<2mm).

Compatibility & Interchanges

  • V19 Parts: The V22 bottom case is fully compatible with previously posted V19 upper cases.

  • Mix & Match: The "Thin" bottom is compatible with the "Standard" top.

  • Drop-in Fit: The Standard UL versions require no hardware modifications for REV 5 boards.

Thin QMX UL no PTT: Same as the Thin design but no PTT output hole.

The QMX pictured is a QRP labs built, Rev 5, mid band, with PTT jack. The case is a V19 standard printed in ASA-GF. The ultralight knobs can be found here: https://www.printables.com/model/1524316-trx-ultralight-knobs-for-qmx

FOR THIN DESIGN ONLY: Circled are the two power board retention screws to replace as well as the metal screw that holds the finals in place that need to be replaced with an M3 button head or filed down to less than 2mm from the PCB.
