This project is a completely new 3D model of a modular panel for 10-inch racks. While functionally inspired by and fully compatible with the system created by Yury Komarov, this is not a remix of his files. I have modeled every part from scratch in FreeCAD to introduce several quality-of-life improvements.
Key Improvements
Universal Positions: Unlike the original design that requires specific left, right, and middle frames, all positions in this version are universal. You can place any sub-module into any slot without worrying about symmetry.
Slotted Mounting Holes: The rack-mount holes are designed as slots (oblong holes). This allows for much easier installation and compensates for slight manufacturing tolerances in different rack brands.
Required Hardware
To assemble the frame and modules, you will need:
2x M3x8mm Countersunk Screws (per sub-module)
2x M3 Hex Nuts (per sub-module)
Compatibility & Inspiration
This frame is designed to be backwards compatible with sub-modules from the original ecosystem.
For 3-module frames: Use the "middle" modules from the original design for a perfect fit.
For 2-module frames: You can use original modules as they are (though corners might not align perfectly), or simply adjust the corner radius from rounded to sharp directly in your slicer.
I am also including 'Blank' modules that I designed from scratch. These allow the community to easily create their own custom modules.

Proof of Authorship
To respect the "No Derivatives" license of the inspiring project, I have recreated this entire system from a blank document. I am providing the original FreeCAD source files (.FCStd) as proof of authorship. You can inspect the full modeling history to see that this is an original work.
