We can use templates to create pictures on our windows with artificial snow.

However, sometimes we would like to create more complicated pictures, but this is difficult without touching the snow that already has been placed on the window.

The template holder is a simple tool that allows to switch templates without moving position.

This gives us the possibility to use mutlipy templates for the same pictures. You can hold the tool as is shown in the picture.

In this way we can mask some areas which will be used by other templates.

The distance between the template and the windows is 3 mm. You can increase the distance by adding the appropriate distance.

I've printed these with the TPU filament and 0.1 [mm] print profile. However, I noticed you need to be careful when spraying the snow. Practise makes a master.

The stl food adds a 1mm high. You can create your own feets with different hight. The insert hole has a dimension of 10 mm diamter (use 9.8) and a 6 mm depth.

The template holder needs to be printed with support. However, removing the support for the template insert area isn't easy.

I've created a small tool, that can be used at the last stage to remove the support. I would suggest starting by using a small stanley knife.

If you don't have a printer which can print multi material, you can use the 3fm file, which I've attached.

It will makes life a little bit easier, but still requires a lot of work.

I've provided a few sample templates, which where provided by my daughter. She made the drawings - I just used the snippet tool within Fusion.

If you want to create your own templates, you can use the empty template stl file, which you can import into your favourite cad program.
