Radome 70cm QFE antenna
This radome is made for the 70cm quadrifilar antenna.
Can be seen here as TinyGS station covering from Mediterranean in south up to Svalbard in north from my balcony in Sweden: SA0PEJ_70cm
Printing and building
Print parts in colourless/white PLA (or PETG/ABS)
Glue Top and Tube together
Paint 2. with white polyurethane paint to make UV tolerable without affecting antenna characteristics
Glue QFE antenna to Base, remember to pass cable through hole. Antenna is loosely fit, so a good blob of glue is needed.
Close hole with Cap and seal
A tip, I bought neodym magnets and glued inside base to put radome on window sill or other metal surface.
