I designed a replacement knob for the AC control panel of a Renault Kangoo. The original knob was broken, and the only available spare part was the entire control unit, which was unreasonably expensive for such a small failure.
This replacement knob has 100% fit on the original shaft. The design differs slightly in appearance from the OEM part, but functionality and fitment are fully preserved.
Printing recommendations
Print in PETG or stronger material (PLA is not recommended due to low melting point).
Use a slow print speed for maximum strength.
Alternatively, tilt the model slightly during printing so the layer lines are not aligned with the weakest point, which is the joint between the two inner tabs/clips.
