EGO Battery Switch Fix – Prevents Random Shutdowns
Description
This part fixes a common issue found on EGO leaf blowers / vacuums and similar EGO tools:
The internal battery detection end switch often has too much play. During use, the switch may momentarily lose contact, causing the tool to think the battery has been removed – resulting in sudden and unwanted shutdowns.
This small add-on is attached directly to the battery (for example using super glue or mounting adhesive) and ensures that the battery detection switch is pressed reliably at all times.
This prevents random power loss during operation.
Installation
Align the part on the battery at the correct position
Secure it using a small amount of adhesive
No modification to the tool itself is required
