A proof of concept for a 16.6667 threads per inch machinist jack. The odd thread pitch results in the head of the jack moving .010" per flat on the hex head or .005" from flat to point on the head. Obviously, a 3D printed machinist jack isn't very sturdy or accurate, but I thought other people might find it interesting. Because of the odd pitch making one out of metal will require a CNC lathe or creative use of change gears on a manual lathe.
