Assembly

** Be very careful to not over-tighten any screws, as it will strip out the plastic holes  **

  1. Remove the bottom case panel from the case

    1. There is a screw on the back of the case holding it in.

  2. Remove the feet from the panel

  3. Attach the original feet to the bottom of the side rails.

    1. It is much easier to do this now rather than later.

    2. Use M3 screws for this, not the original screws from the case

  4. Attach the side rails to the bottom panel

    1. Front first then Rear, as the Rear Side Rail tabs go over the front

    2. Use the original screws from the case/feet for this

  5. Attach the 3x Support bar pieces to the side rails

  6. Mount the disk drive or other 5.25" accessory to the side rails

  7. Place the Face Plate across the front of the Side Rails / panel

    1. Do not screw this in yet

  8. Attach the Front Side Plates

    1. The two front mounting holes require inserting a screw through the Front Plate holes and into the Side Rails

    2. The rear screws will pass through the Side Plate and Rear Side Rail holes and thread into the Front Side Rail holes

      1. This hole may require firm pressure and a slight angle to align all 3 holes. It is designed to be a snug fit.

  9. Attach the Rear Side Plates

    1. The two rear mounting screws will go directly into the Rear Side Rails

    2. The front mounting screw will go directly into the Rear Side Rails.

  10. Route cables underneath
