👥 Players

  • 2–4 players

  • 1 player is Pac-Man

  • Other players are Ghosts (Blinky, Pinky, etc.)

🎯 Goal

  • Ghosts win if they trap Pac-Man so he cannot move.

🧱 Board Setup

  • Grid board (example: 9×9 or 10×10 squares)

  • Walls fit between squares (like Quoridor)

  • Place:

    • Pac-Man in the center

    • Ghosts on corners or edges

    • Pellets on most squares (optional but fun)

🧩 Pieces

  • Pac-Man token (1)

  • Ghost tokens (1 each)

  • Walls (shared pool)

🔄 Turn Order

  1. Pac-Man

  2. Ghost 1

  3. Ghost 2

  4. Ghost 3 (if playing 4 players)
    → repeat

🏃 Movement Rules

Pac-Man

  • Move 1 square up / down / left / right

  • Cannot pass through walls

  • Cannot move onto a ghost

  • If he lands on a pellet → pellet removed

Ghosts

  • Same movement as Pac-Man

  • Cannot move onto Pac-Man’s square

  • Ghosts do NOT eat pellets

🧱 Wall Placement (Quoridor style)

On your turn, you may either:

  • Move your piece
    OR

  • Place 1 wall

Wall rules:

  • Wall blocks movement between squares

  • Must fit perfectly in the wall gaps

  • You may NOT completely block Pac-Man

    • There must always be at least one path to the exit

.

  1. Move your pawn

  2. Place a wall

🏃 Pawn Movement Rules

  • Move 1 square up, down, left, or right

  • No diagonal movement

  • You cannot pass through walls

Jumping

🧱 Wall Placement Rules

  • Walls are placed between squares

  • Walls are always 2 squares long

  • Can be placed horizontal or vertical

  • Walls block movement, not squares
