Baseboard / Skirting / Trim etc.

I needed a quick fix to cover the edge between the wall and the floor beneath a window, and the same in the kitchen, where a backboard meets the cabinets.

This is a base file: you can adjust the length and height in PrusaSlicer by adjusting the x, y, and z scales independently to get the size you need.

For example, in the pictures you can see, printed in rPLA:

• 1 baseboard 1cmx1cm, which covers a length of 70,5 cm

• 1 baseboard 3cmx3cm covering a length of about 82 cm.

Both of these are printed in several pieces.

Some points useful for me:

• no supports or brim were needed in my prints

• print all the files from the same spool and in the same material. I ran out of white and, innocently enough, picked up another spool of white... not the same white, so I had to paint over it.

• same as with regular trim: the larger pieces don't look as neat together as the small ones. I need to finish the larger ones of with silicones to make them look even. The smaller versions look great just glued together.

• you can easily saw off a small bit if you miscalculated or ran into an issue. 

I didn't need edges, but maybe I'll make them sometime...
