This flexible printed part is designed to add thickness around the battery and reduce any movement inside the back case.
That’s why it must be printed in a flexible material.
Unfortunately, the original spacers used in the Floatwheel are small rigid plastic squares that don’t really work as spacers. They’re too thin and move around inside their slots, so they don’t do the job they were meant to do. Their rattling is often noticeable when the board takes a hit.
Print this part in a flexible material — I recommend TPU. Make sure to remove the top and bottom layers so the material can compress properly. I used 15% grid infill.
