This is a modified version of Mark Ayton’s excellent EFIS Knob. The back has been lengthened to make the knob easier to rotate. The mounting hole on the bottom has also been resized to fit the Engine Mode Selector post on the throttle unit or either of the Navigational Display map adjustments posts on the EFIS module from WinCtrl.
As someone with limited hand function, I found the normal knobs difficult to turn, so I created these modified versions. :)
There are two options: a single-piece version and a two-piece version. The two-piece version has an inner part that can be printed in white for a more stock appearance. For the knobs themselves, I used Polymaker Gray PLA, which closely matches the color of the originals.
The EFIS knobs are a little shorter than the Engine Mode Selector knobs due to clearance issues with the ADF/VOR switches. The inner white piece is the same for both.
.step files included in case you’d like to make your own modifications.
I printed both parts out of PLA using a 0.16 layer height and 15% infill.
