The Ricoh AF-5 is a fairly unknown, but actually very solid, 35mm compact camera. Well, compact-ish. Anyway, it has a bizarre on/off system that is triggered by a button depressed by the lens cap, so if you don't have a lens cap you can't really prevent the shutter firing inside your bag.
This is a replacement cap designed to look pretty close to the original, allowing for the differences between moulding and FDM printing. It's a press-fit design like the original and features a hole for a string to let you tie it to the strap brackets, again like the original. It's not as flexible as the original and depending on your printer you may need to tweak the sizing to get a precise fit - this is what works on my Centauri Carbon with my slicer settings.
This is a bit of a bugger to print cleanly, so I'm including my OrcaSlicer settings. Some key things to note:
Print with the text side facing upwards
You really need to dial in your bridging settings, but this will print without supports under most of the model
Supports needed under the ears and ledges on the sides. Don't use tree supports as the finish is terrible.
If you're not using supports under the bridge, your ironing flow will likely need to be high to compensate for the slight sag. About 60% on my printer. This will leave some excess material on other parts of the surface but you can sand that off if needed.
Infill type is irrelevant as it's all solid layers and walls
Some of my fairly standard settings: 3 wall loops, 5 top shell layers, inner/outer/inner wall order, 0.3mm top z distance for supports, 3 top interface layers for supports
I printed this one in PolyMaker PolyTerra PLA, should work in pretty much anything. TPU could be interesting!
