I modeled this adapter for my Harbor Freight blower vac. The tool sku is 62337, if you search it up it will be "PORTLAND 12 Amp, 3-in-1 Electric Blower Vacuum Mulcher"

I used it to blow insulation into the uninsulated walls of my old house. It works really well and simplifies attaching a 1.25" hose to direct the insulation into the wall cavities. The hose I used was click together pool cleaner hose. the taper is designed to match that. You should be able to jam any tube around 1.25" onto the end though.

It does require you to break up the insulation ahead of time. I used a mud mixing tool and paddle adapter to make short work of this. I broke the insulation up in a 27-gallon tote. I placed the vacuum section of the leaf blower into the broken-up insulation and switched it on after placing the hose into the wall. You can feel the back pressure while pushing the insulation towards the vacuum section. If it plugs up, you will feel the air flow revert and back up through the machine. It can make a mess, but it is easy to avoid with a bit of practice.

I was able to achieve self-supporting levels of density easily. I immediately noticed reduction in drafts. I used a 4" hole to allow for steering the hose a bit. The tool does heat the air bit while working, so if you are going to use a thermal camera to check your work you'll need to wait for the next day for temps to stabilize in the wall.

The tool is compact and enables you to blow in insulation by yourself without moving around a large machine. Messy, but it has worked wonders for me. I hope it can do the same for you!
