My cat has a number of electronic balls, but only one that it actually likes to chase. Unfortunately, the tail is held on with the weakest of clips and they don't sell replacements. As such I have made a replacement.
It doesn't close around the fluffy tail all that well, certainly not when attached by a cat, so I recommend just using a soldering iron (or glue) to secure once the tail is in place.
I have printed it in PLA with a 0.4mm nozzle and it seems ok so far, though I might try the next one in TPU.
For the tail itself I just searched "cat worm on string" on Amazon and cut of the string.
