There are 2 sizes: 100x72 (for those who prefers metric-friendly sizes) and 3.5"x2.5" (for those who lives in the US). To make the shelf you need to print corresponding STL file in normal and mirror mode (i.e. to have both- left and right brackets).
You also need to buy 2 boards in a home improvement store (or cut it from 19mm / 3/4" plywood). Both boards should have standard sizes: 19-20mm metric or 1" in US (which is actually 3/4", i.e. 19mm), One board is going to be the shelf bottom. Its width, depending on which STL you chose, is either 100mm wide or 4" wide (as marked in the store, but the actual size is 3.5" - US woodworking specifics :) ). The length can be as long as you need, e.g. 1m or more. The other board is the front side of the shelf. The width (depending on the STL) is either 72mm or 3" (which is in reality 2.5"). The length is the same as the shelf board or a few mm longer. The thickness of the front board can be less than the shelf board, e.g. 1/2" (actual).
Attach the boards as shown in the pictures. The idea is that the front board covers the front side of the brackets exactly from the upper front corner to the bottom front corner. Since the shelf board is slightly above the bottom corner of the bracket, the boards do not align at the bottom- see the pictures. To fix the boards between themselves I used wood glue and secured the board by nails until the glue is cured (then the nails are not needed). Because the front board is at 90 degrees angle to the shelf bottom board, the shelf board does not bend even if the shelf length is long.
After the boards are glued, slide them into the brackets and attach using 3/4" #6 screw (20x4 mm in the metric word). Then mount on the wall using whatever screws you need. The diameter of the hole is 5.5mm for the screw itself and 12mm for the head. The thickness of the bracket near the hole is 10mm.
Note that the bracket also acts as the left/right side walls, so no need covering it additionally. Whatever you place on the shelf is secured from all sides.
