The Apex Extruder has arrived. Engineered specifically for the Box Turtle 1.1 filament changing system, Apex represents a leap forward in reliability and precision. By integrating the LDO Orbiter v2.5 gear sets, we’ve created an extruder that delivers precision and longevity for the Box Turtle filament changer.

Recommended Print Settings
For Box turtle 1.1 official release it will be recommended to have 2 of mirrored and 2 non mirrored to support other features coming with official release. If you would like to reduce the chance of reprinting these I would suggest you print 2 of each version! Hardware remains the same for both versions
To ensure the ECAS fittings press-fit correctly and internal tolerances are maintained, please follow these specifications:
Material: ABS or ASA (Standard Voron specs).
Material For Spacer : TPU Preffered, Can be ABS/ASA Also.
Orientation: Already set by file orientation
Walls/Perimeters: 4
Top/Bottom Layers: 4
Infill: 30-40% (TPMS-D or Gyroid recommended).
Scaling/Shrinkage: Print at 100% scale. Do NOT use shrinkage compensation; the ECAS sockets are pre-toleranced for a perfect tight fit at a standard scale.
