Re-purpose your old Anet A8 (or clone) PCB to display other information to you hearts desire. This model comes in three parts. The main case holds the LCD2004 PCB, held down by a bracket that also has holes for heat-set insert to affix your custom electronics to the bracket. It also screws into the back lid (also with heat set inserts).
The back lid has a cutout for a DE-9 connector.
I used this thing to create a CAN-Bus live information display for my car, but maybe you can find other uses for it as well.
