Automotive Fluid Sample Card. So far nothing negative in useing PLA, though I recomend PETG or PCTG. With 3DFuel PCTG ive had the color run, not bad just annoying. PAs are good. If using PAs put a good brim. I use a 5mm brim and glue if you dont have a fancy build plate. ABS,ASA,PC melt with acetone(Brake Cleaner) So i advise not using them. Not sure about TPU. PEBA may be OK for card and/or text, but not for the cup. I recomend printing all parts in the same type of filament for ease of fitment. Though some sanding may be required.
For the card i only specify that you tick the "Detect thin walls" under the strength tab. The raised letters wont be as neat if not. I havent noticed any benifit in adding more walls or infil. It will make it stonger, duh! If your environment if rough then i would suggest it. Up to you how much.
For the text i went with 4 walls to eliminate infill. The text prints upside down for the use of holographic build plates, or plate texture. Plus the bottom layer usually looks better than the top.
For the cups i went with 3 walls. Picture shows cup print oritation and setting. I found that printing the cups individualy they have a better chance of not leaking. Printing one at a time sucks and gives you that babysitter vibe. So... Depending on your plate size, fill it with cups and chage "Print Sequence" in the "Others" tab to "By Object". For a 256x256 i can fit the 14 the card takes.
EDIT
Added file with text part of card for MMU
Added pic of card from snapmaker u1 in PLA. cups in PETG. in use for 2 weeks. seems to be holding up.
still question longevity of PLA.
cards is PETG seem to get brittle over time. more walls may help.
