I made this towel rack because I wanted an easy-to-clean holder above my sink without having to buy an annoying adhesive hook or drill holes through the tiles.
Design & Functionality
This one is two-piece, but is only glued to the wall, not to each other, and can therefore be taken apart again for cleaning.
Material Recommendations (TPU)
The towel holder is made of TPU 90A, which offers a good balance between holding and release force. Depending on the application, I recommend different Shore hardness levels:
Shower Towels: TPU 95A or harder.
Microfiber Towels (Workshop): TPU 83A.
Mounting Options
I have tested various mounting methods and everything holds up great:
Double-sided adhesive tape
Silicone
PU adhesive
