These are my personal modifications to Robert Samples' "Side mount dry box for Elegoo Centauri Carbon with hygrometer"
I printed the box a total of 3 times trying different things in order to get a good airtight seal.
The first time, I ignored the comment he made about 5 walls recommended, so I did PETG with 2 walls and there was significant bowing when the door was latched preventing an air tight seal. I tried both the raw-filament seal and the remixed printed one https://www.printables.com/model/1401110-tpu-gasket-for-cc-dry-box-version-2, but it still bowed enough to leave a visible gap.
Then I tried some Flex Shot silicone (I-sawed-this-boat-in-half kind) with PETG 4 walls, but my clumsy hands couldn't get a perfect bead along the rim and it still wasn't a great seal.
So then I made the modifications seen here and printed in ABS for better rigidity to accommodate some "Car speaker EVA tape" which I think is airtight, but probably not the best since my cheap hygrometer still hovers around 25%. I do use desiccant bags instead of pellets so that also might contribute to that.
Also I wanted to be able to monitor the filament level so I added a window, but it is still dark inside so it isn't easy to see. Maybe try printing in white for better visibility there. The door hinge location is also slightly different. I've included with and without the window in case you don't want it.
