This is a modified casing of the great Mellow LLL Plus Filament Buffer so it mounts on the side of a 2020 extrusion. Nothing else has been changed so all other printed parts and LLL Plus kit will fit as it is modified from the OEM CAD files.
It is designed for a Voron frame using 2020 extrusions and 3 mm Plexiglass panels. Also, it will work with any 2020 extrusion system as long as there are no other parts interfering.
My goals were the following.
Fit on a 20x20 extrusion of any Voron frame.
Located as close to the printer as possible to minimize printer footprint.
Co-exist with 3 mm Plexiglass (standard) Voron panels for fully enclosed operations.
Be able to remove/install the Plexiglass panels without removing the LLL Plus.
Easy printing without supports.
