I needed to have more clearance after modifying a sprite extruder to fit onto an Ender2Pro. So I made this solution. It uses stock mounting positions for the original Creality x motor and the original limit switch. Stuff was just moved in as far as possible to clear all of my modifications. It now strikes on the very top of the plate on the edge instead of further down on the plate. Its just a hair lower then the 20x20 frame too, other then where the switch lives.
Was designed to Print in the files orientation. No supports are needed as there are no overhangs.
There are two files, the main frame which holds the switch and a lid.
You can just use the main frame if you don't want a cover on the switch.
The lid is just to help protect the switch. If you install it it works as a clamping surface on a large part of the limit switch to add rigidity.
Additional hardware you will need.
Three M3x25 for the main body to mount to the motor.
One M3x35 to go through the lid, and main mount, and into the motor. (I cut down one of the original m340 bolts for this to be actually m3x36 but 35mm should be fine.)
One m3 of your choice length to mount the top lid to the main body. (Nut on the back if you want.)
