I needed a simple carpenter's scribe tool to mark the contours of my sailboat interiors onto wood decks, platforms, etc. This one is meant to accommodate a ~7mm diameter pencil. The tall sides and undulating indentions are meant to make an easy grip - one hand or two. It has two ends - one for tighter spaces and the other for scribing wall-like contours.
I printed this out of PLA at 10mm detail, but I'm sure draft mode would be fine too.
I may make another with hole increments closer together.
