This is a replacement antenna mount designed for the original Hurricane 5 antenna holder. I built it specifically for the AKK Race Ranger VTX, which uses an MMCX‑to‑SMA pigtail, but it should work with any similar VTX setup. The mount attaches to the frame using two standoffs spaced 25 mm apart. The standoffs are 5 mm in diameter, so the mount may also be compatible with other frames that use the same spacing.
The SMA antenna sits at a clean rearward angle for optimal clearance from the props, and the GPS housing positions the module high enough to maintain good satellite visibility. The GPS tray includes a small notch for a zip‑tie, allowing you to secure the module firmly during hard maneuvers or crashes.
