Stylish Key Tray

A compact and stylish square key tray designed for everyday convenience, measuring 100 × 100 mm with a height of 25 mm. The tray consists of two precisely engineered parts: an outer frame and an inner tray. The inner tray features a subtle chamfer, making it easy to access and retrieve keys, coins, or small essentials without fumbling.

Both components are designed for a secure press-fit assembly, allowing them to snap together effortlessly while maintaining a clean, seamless look. For a more permanent hold, a small amount of super glue can be applied, though it is not necessary for normal use.

Print settings

I recommend minimum layer height of 0.20 mm. A fill density of minimum 15% with Rectilinear infill works well. 

To avoid warping of the bases, I recommend to disable the fan for the first 3 layers and set the fist layer speed to 10mm/s. Also print with 3 walls to achieve a smooth outer surface finish. Also consider enabling Avoid Crossing Perimeters for best results.

Add some rubber feet at the bottom of the frame to avoid the tray from sliding around.

Supports are not required.
