Wall Hook with Cover Plate

What this is

Hook, wall mounted, with a cover plate to hide the screws

Why I made it

I needed a hook to some walls to store some bags to the wall in my office and other spaces.

Printing recommendations

Print in PLA, PETG or another rigid material
No special supports should be needed, depending on orientation
I used 2 perimeter layers, however more will make the hook structural better
For infill I used "Gyroid"

Usage

• I typically used d3mm screws.
  Check upfront if the screwhead doesnt protrude the surface of the base plate. This would hamper the coverplate to fit nicelly.

• Drill the holes in your wall

• Use proper plugs

• Assemble the base plate with hook

• Assemble the cover plate.

• You should be done.. wait .. store for instance a bag :)

Note

I didn't test or designed the hook to carry a pre-defined or garanteed weight.
Use on your own risk ;)
