After designing and building our Ikea entertainment unit, I knew that we needed a way to pass cables through the frame easily to both sides. Decided that adding a cable grommet through the middle frame piece would work best.
Has worked well and can let a large amount of cables through, used this with a 2.5" Milwaukee hole saw and installed the two ends afterwards. Took a few attempts, but now feels snug and I am not worried about it breaking.
Big thanks to SeanChangX for the original design, after some modifications it worked great for me, and I hope this may help someone else in the future!
