Update: Added a short version to clear large GPUs like the 3090, 4090 and 5090 (30mm height)

A minimalist, two-part adjustable GPU support bracket engineered for heavy graphics cards in builds with extreme vertical clearance constraints.

To maximize structural integrity in a small footprint, this design avoids complex sliding rails or locking pins. Instead, it uses a solid monolithic base and a threaded top pad, allowing for precise height adjustment and high load capacity.

Key Features

  • Flat Support Pad: The top piece features a completely flat, 8mm thick hexagonal pad. Because there are no slots or directional rails, rotational orientation does not matter. Simply twist the pad to the required height, and the GPU will rest securely on the flat surface.

  • Heavy-Duty Core: Designed around a thick M22 threaded rod to support the weight of massive modern GPUs without slipping or failing.

  • Precise Adjustment: Utilizes a custom 4mm thread pitch for fine height tuning, ensuring the card can be perfectly leveled.

  • Seamless Aesthetics: The base and the head share a continuous twisted-hex geometry, giving the assembled bracket a clean, machined look regardless of the adjusted height.

Print Instructions & Settings

  • Material Warning: Do not use PLA. Modern high-end GPUs exhaust significant heat that will warp and soften PLA over time, causing the bracket to fail. Use high-temperature materials like PETG, ABS, ASA, or PC.

  • Wall Perimeters (Crucial): 4 to 6 walls. High wall count is required to give the threaded rod the shear strength needed to hold heavy cards.

  • Infill: 30% - 50% (Gyroid, Cubic, or Honeycomb) for compressive strength.

  • Layer Height: 0.16mm or 0.20mm is recommended for smooth thread engagement.

  • Supports: None required. The models are fully support-free.

  • Orientation: Print both parts standing upright.

  • Bed Adhesion: A brim is highly recommended for the top part (the pad with the integrated screw) to ensure the tall, narrow thread stays securely attached to the build plate during printing.

Assembly The threads are modeled with a standard 0.4mm tolerance, providing a smooth, wobble-free fit on a calibrated printer. Screw the top pad down into the base, place it under the corner of your GPU, and slowly unscrew it until the flat pad makes firm, level contact with the cooler shroud.
