Upright organizer stand with a 4x4 grid of 15mm slots, 80mm tall. Good for rasps, files, small screwdrivers, pens, bits — anything with a ~7-8cm shaft you want standing up.
Design choices:
Solid 20mm band at top and bottom keeps tools separated and adds stability (mass low to the ground).
Middle 40mm band has hex windows cut clean through the whole box (outer wall → all 3 internal dividers → opposite outer wall), so even the 4 inner cells are visible. Windows align with cell centers so nothing is blocked.
Dividers stay full-height solid at the top/bottom bands, so tools stay in their own cells.
Fully parametric — edit the .scad. Top of the file has all the knobs: cells (grid size), cell (slot width), height, hex_r, etc. Want a 3x3 pen stand? Set cells = 3. Want deeper slots? Bump height. Everything rescales.
Outer dimensions at stock settings: ~68 x 68 x 80 mm.
