Parametric High-Efficiency Fan Grill (Remix)
This is a fully parametric remix of the "High Efficiency Noctua 120mm Fan Grill." While the original design offers excellent airflow and low noise levels, I created this version to improve compatibility and versatility for different hardware setups.
The Fix
I noticed that when importing the original .stp file into Fusion 360 and projecting the edges onto a sketch, there were open shape issues (misaligned lines). This made it impossible to extrude from the resulting sketch. To solve this, I fully recreated the fan pattern from scratch to ensure clean, closed geometry.
How to Customize
This model is designed to be easily adjustable. You don't need advanced CAD skills to change the dimensions:
Open the provided .f3d file in Autodesk Fusion 360.
Go to Modify > Change Parameters.
Change the fan_size parameter to match your specific fan (e.g., 80, 92, 140, etc.).
The geometry will update automatically!
Note: Please double-check the mounting hole dimensions in the parameters before printing to ensure they fit your specific screws and fan housing.
