This bird feeder is really common and cheap and quite cute, but it can only be used with nuts and not smaller seeds. I made this modification that clicks on without any screws (only a dot of hot glue) and now you can use smaller seeds in the bird feeder.
I also made a small spill tray that can be attached underneath with zip ties to catch any seeds that gets out. This helps with rats and mice having a feast as well.
if your version has slightly different dimensions i added the source files for freecad so you can change anything you want, but please share you changes for others to enjoy. I'll also happily add variations of sizes on request.
