AA & AAA Battery Dispenser for Multiboard
A simple dispenser for AA and AAA batteries that clips onto the Multiboard. Drop batteries in from the top, pull the next one out from the bottom (to the side). FIFO. Can hold 12 AA and 13 AAA batteries.
Why I made it
I had a typical curved slide dispenser that sat on my desk and was constantly in the way — a perfect candidate to Multiboardify. I find this shallow implementation with the stop and the side unload more elegant as well.
Printing notes
Supports required, but minimized — check the included print profile
Any standard filament works (PLA is great)
A note on the photos
The printed version in my photos has a small battery icon on the front face as a personal touch — it's not part of the model files for copyright reasons, but you can find many similar SVGs online.
The pictured model is also an older version where the battery stop was printed separately, then glued. The current version includes the stop as part of the model.
Foot notes
I always include STEP files to make remixing or just playing around with my models easier. If you see them missing please let me know and I will add them!
One day, filament recycling will be viable. This is why I always deboss material names on an inconspicuous face of my models and I encourage you to do the same. When you will no longer have a use for the part you print today, if by then recycling made it to or near our homes, you will know for sure what it was printed out of.
I included 3mf files with text debossing to that end (exported from Bambu Studio).
