I was making the great flintlock model and wanted a way to hold and hang the parts for easier painting.

So I was making the flintlock pistol below and wanted to make it easier to paint so I designed a couple of little things to help.

Trigger Plate: goes into trigger guard hole and is held in by the hammer shaft that comes with the existing model.
Cover Plate: Covers the inside and locks in with the hammer shaft and a little painters tape to keep in place
Trigger Guard: Slides into the trigger guard with a little painters tape if needed to hold tight.
Barrel: Put a couple of layers of painters tape on it enough where it can be shoved into the barrel and hold. Then you can hang the barrels. Just make sure it will hold before you start I had one of 4 fall off but just needed a little more tape.
Hope these help. The model is really great and I advise anyone that like that sort of thing to print your own.
