Oval-to-Round Vacuum Adapter Compatible with Electrolux

If you have a vacuum cleaner compatible with Electrolux oval-shaped AeroPro tubes, finding suitable accessories can be difficult. This adapter system allows standard round vacuum nozzles and accessories, including 32 mm, 35 mm, and 36 mm sizes, to be connected easily.

Instructions for Print

Choose Standalone Options: Use the "Direct" parts in the Standalone adapters- folder if you just need a quick, one-piece solution for a specific size. Note: Direct parts are slightly oversized.

Or Choose modular system:

1. Select your Base

   • Full-size: For maximum stability and a secure fit.

   • Compact: For a lightweight setup, low-profile use, or quick testing.

2. Select your Connector: Choose the part that matches your nozzle's diameter (e.g., ELUX_Connector_32od_26id_v1). Note: id=inner diameter and od=outer diameter.

3. Optional Sleeves: If needed use an expansion sleeve on top of your connector for a custom fit. Note: 35od connector is needed for these.

   

Recommended Print Settings & Materials

• Materials: PETG, PC (Polycarbonate) or ABS/ASA

• Layer Height: 0.2mm – 0.28mm

• Infill: 15–20% (Gyroid or Grid).

• Support: No supports needed when printed in the STL orientation.

Installation

• Modular system:

  • Insert the connector into the base and push it through. A vacuum cleaner handle can be used to help with this step.

  • Plastic adhesive can be used to lock the connector in place, but it is not strictly necessary. If adhesive is used, make sure it is suitable for PE, PP, PTFE, or similar plastics, such as Loctite Super Glue Plastics Bonding System.

  • Adhesive is required to keep the optional sleeve securely in place.

• Standalone adapters:

  • Just use it.
