Wallmount Chromecast Remote Cradle
This cradle is designed to be mounted on a wall with 3M Command strips. This cradle is designed to be used with a Chromecast or Google Streamer remote inside of a case, so it may be loose-fitting for a remote that's not in a case.
This model is not a remix of the following models, but I did design this cradle specifically for Chromecast and Google Streamer remotes that fit inside these cases:
I highly recommend these if you have the TPU to print them as they're excellent.
Print Instructions
Print in the presented orientation with 0.2mm layer height. No supports are needed.
For attaching the 3M Command strips, I recommend adding a fuzzy skin of 0.1mm to the rear of the model. I found that this worked really well without any other post-processing needed.
If you choose not to use a fuzzy skin, then check out the section below.
Post-Print Instructions
If a fuzzy skin isn't used, you can still achieve good adhesion with Command strips by using a coarse sandpaper on the back of the print. Coarse sandpaper should give a rough enough texture that Command strips will have no problems sticking to the print.
Materials Used for Pics
The cradles in the pictures are printed from Prusament Galaxy Black PETG and OVV3D PLA Teakwood. To get a real nice wood finish, I lightly sanded the one printed from the teak wood PLA and applied a stain.
How It Was Made
