Rechargeable "Mini AliX" Bluetooth Scale

Reworked version of the excellent modification by Konstantinos Terzopoulos for the affordable KP2048B Bluetooth scale, now featuring USB-C rechargeability.

The KP2048B is a generic smart scale that pairs directly with Gaggimate espresso machines. It is widely available on AliExpress for around 15€.

This version utilizes a TP4056 USB module and a 500 mAh LiPo battery to eliminate the need for disposable batteries. The original PCB features pins that can be used to connect the TP4056 module directly (see pictures); the scale handles this power source without any issues.

This redesign includes a few changes compared to the original mod:

• threaded inserts for connecting the parts of the case and make disassembly easier

• added tolerances to use a sealing adhesive-stripe between display and top-case

• "drainage" channel around the opening for the load-cell to prevent water ingress

• small access holes allow you to push the buttons out from the inside if you need to take it apart.
