Here is my simple every-day-carry container for 22mm ID steerer tubes.

Good for hiding small bits and pieces.
The main compartment is just a straight tube so you aren't limited by the restrictive design of expensive EDC steerer tube kits. Put "anything" you want in a 19.5mm x 120mm(+) tube.
Requires extra parts!
small hex head bolt/screw
small 4mm hex key (small enough to fit inside the slot)
slim o-ring for tube cap (optional but cap is loose without it)
It has a slot for storing a small 4mm hex key needed to release the tube.

Some alterations may be needed for specific cases!
I used an M4 bolt but if another size is used you may need to make the hole a bit bigger to allow the segments to push out properly.
The total height is 145mm. Depending on where your star nut sits you may need something else in your steerer tube to put the EDC tube at the right height.
After some use you will get used to how to get it in and out. Something is needed to stop the tube from turning while you tighten/loosen the bolt. A key of some kind will do or anything that fits between the segments. To take the tube out from an upside down bike just inserting the allen key and removing at an angle will grip the tube enough to remove it in most cases.
When using your screw, the tightness of the segments doesn't really "activate" until the screw head starts pushing down on the inside of the segments. If you want it to tighten sooner some kind of tapered screw with a hex head would be needed.

Printing Parameters:
Filament: Any really, I used PLA.
Layer height: 0.2mm or 0.25mm
Infill: 15% -> Solid
Walls: If not using solid infill just 2 walls is fine.
I hope it helps you as much as it has helped me. If you have any questions before buying or require more information please don't hesitate to ask. This is my first paid upload so I welcome any feedback too.
Any buyers will have free access to new versions of this EDC steerer tube container.
