I designed a custom Prusa-style camera enclosure for the C1 using a cheap surv. camera bought from Action. The entire enclosure was made through reverse engineering of the camera electronic dimensions, while keeping a design language that matches the original Prusa aesthetic without modifying the printer itself.
The mount:
requires only a few drops of hard plastic glue
magnets n.6 Ø5x2mm
print oriented as showed in slicer pic.
added a small TPU left over to ensure grip
to pass the cable just follow Prusa's official camera setup on their website
The camera actually works surprisingly well for print monitoring, the other functions of the camera are disable with this mod tho, like the blue activity led indicator in front, and the audio in-out. Only audio in could be used maybe to hear some weird machine noises, but i still didn't work on that enclosure. If requested i could work on that too. Thought also that would be amazing instead of a mic, connecting a smoke detector.
Really cheap option, amazing video quality and also you have an application dedicated for safe monitoring and other tools. Integrated microSD card for long recording or timelapse. I think It can be associated to Prusa connect as well...

Opening the original camera I'm more than sure that you will loose warranty rights. Be careful with the electronics, I'm sure if you are here is because you know what you are doing.
