My Scout troop has a bunch of old 3 gallon (12 liter) Reliance water jugs that have lost their caps over the years. Every 3d print replacement cap I have seen are for the modern, large spout jugs. This cap has been designed to fit the old, 2 inch (50mm) spouts.
When printing, keep in mind that the cap will be in contact with the water in the jug, get tossed around, and will likely be stuck in a hot car or trailer at some point in its life.
Printing suggestions:
Recommend PETG or PCTG
food safe material
high temperature resistance (like a hot car)
impact resistance
0.2mm layer height
100% infill
Solid plastic cap for max durability
Concentric infill makes sense due to the circular shape of the cap
No supports needed if printed upside down (cap top on the bed with threaded side up)
